Young Vineyard

At the Vineyard we believe that our children are the church of today as well as the church of tomorrow. Our Young Vineyard team are committed to the values that we feel are important to the growth and development of our young people's relationship with God and each other.

Helping our children to

  • live the life of Jesus
  • speak the words of Jesus
  • do the works of Jesus

Young Vineyard Values

  • Worshipping God together
  • Making Jesus accessible to the children so they develop their own relationship with him
  • Learning about the Bible and biblical values
  • Having a real experience of God
  • Seeing young people get saved and filled with the Spirit
  • Growing in the gifts of the Spirit
  • Providing a safe place to share and grow
  • Learning to care for each other
  • Training and equipping this generation
  • Offering support for the children’s needs
  • Identifying and nurturing leaders
  • Developing a positive attitude to church
  • HAVING LOTS OF FUN!

Young Vineyard Groups

In each age group we use Scripture Union teaching materials and spend time praying with the children. Teaching is interspersed with craft, games and fun activities.

Child Protection

We believe that it is important to keep our children safe and so we have a registration system that we use on Sunday mornings to comply with our child protection policy.

If you would like to read our policy then please contact the church office.

If your children do not wish to join the group, then they should remain with you in the hall. For safety reasons we cannot allow children to wander around the school.

Want to Help?

If you have been part of the church for at least six months and attend kinship regularly we would love to consider having you join our Young Vineyard Team. Please phone the church office to request an application form or speak to our Young Vineyard Coordinator, Karin Cronje.
