Our God is a missionary God. By that we mean
that He loves and cares about all people everywhere, and is actively
seeking followers from all cultures, languages and people groups on
the face of the earth.
We believe that it is clear from Scripture and
church history that God’s primary instrument for His mission is
the local church, and that while missions and cross-cultural
ministry can and should begin at home, the local church is commanded
to make disciples not just in their own locality but all around the
world (Matthew 4:23, 28:19-20).
God’s intention is that his people be a
blessing to the nations (Genesis 12:3). Part of our destiny as a
church is to bring the good news of the kingdom to whichever nations
and people groups the Holy Spirit directs us to.
As we have sought the Lord for the nations and
people groups He wants us to serve, we have currently been led to be
involved in two nations in Africa - Senegal and Egypt. As well as
giving financial and practical support, teams from the church visit
on a regular basis to serve in whatever capacity is needed.

We have been able to have considerable effect in ministry in this
West-African nation by partnering with other Vineyard churches in
California and the south of England. By sharing resources, we are
able to support church planting and village outreaches through the
Dakar Vineyard, resource an Arms of Love Children’s home in Dakar,
and help the families of believers to support themselves by
assisting them in setting up small businesses. We sent a
container on 18 February out to Senegal with a generator, clothing,
toys, shoes, and sewing machines. Thank you so much to those of you
who donated sewing machines. These machines will give a family
gainful employment and help them generate an income to feed
and clothe themselves. If you would like to donate to this charity
or would like to consider sponsoring a child from the children's
home please contact the church office on 01296 424400.

In Cairo we are supporting the indigenous
church with training and with financing a worker amongst the
poor.
We are also supporting a local charity H2H with
raising funds for a halfway house for boys leaving the orphanage in
Helwan, and with the development of football teams and small groups.
If you would like to donate to the church in
Cairo or the orphanage please contact the church office on 01296
