Furniture Storehouse

We have a range of basic furniture items in our Furniture Storehouse which we are able to give to people at no cost.

Will Peal explains what motivates him to volunteer at Storehouse.

We have been able to assist many people in need in our community, for example young people moving out of care into social housing, those re-establishing themselves after escaping domestic abuse, ex-prisoners or single parents who are unable to fully furnish their accommodation. We are able to provide a delivery and collection service.

Other items which help relieve the pressure for families on a tight budget such as bedding, towels, light fittings, kitchenware, crockery and cutlery can also be provided.

If you wish to donate, please ensure sofas and armchairs comply with current fire retardant regulations. Items must be in good condition. We regret that we cannot take washing machines, gas appliances or cookers because we are unable to test them. We also are unable to receive toys, videos, DVD's or items containing glass. Currently we are not able to receive large televisions, lounge units or large wardrobes.

If you have goods that you would like to donate that are in good condition, then please contact us by phone on 01296 424440, or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Parking @ Sivatech

Sivatech have very kindly allowed us to park on their premises for those attending Sunday morning services. We would be grateful if you would consider parking there so we can leave the church car park free for first-time visitors, those with mobility problems, and those with babies and toddlers.
