Skater Boys & Hearing Aids
Written by Ellie Carman, 11 Mar 2010

We had another fantastic HOTS on Saturday as God continued to grow legs and heal hearts in Kingsbury Square (emphasis on the King!) Several skateboarders watched in amazement as God grew their legs and some even filmed it on their mobiles. One lad's leg grew so fast that Mick hadn't even had time to pray!

We also prayed for a man for his hearing, sight and strength after a slight stroke. He noticed some improvement, and was later heard telling someone that "Jesus Christ is healing me". God will surely bless his faith. If you think being a Christian is boring, then you are not doing it right!  If you would like to be involved in this exciting work, look out for the next training course.

Thembalitsha Quiz Night

What a fantastic night we had at the World Aids Day Quiz for Thembalitsha on Tuesday night. One hundred and three generous people helped raise just over £1000, or 12,000 SA Rand to send to Maz, Tim & Arron to help towards their work at the Village of Hope.

Haiti Appeal
Written by Ellie Carman, 11 Mar 2010

Thanks to all those who donated so generously to our appeal for Haiti.

We raised £2179.98 and have sent a cheque to Compassion UK, a charity that sponsors children in Haiti and is already working to make life better in this poor and desperate country.

For more info speak to Marilyn Pipe who has been sponsoring a Haitian girl called Gertrude for eighteen months, or see www.compassionuk.org.

Please continue to pray for Gertrude's safety as whilst they believe that she is safe, they have been unable to locate her since the earthquake.
