Coming to Vineyard was like suddenly belonging to a family!
There were people of all ages and so many spoke to me! I love the way Vineyard encourages you to have a go at things and the 'Can Do' culture. I had gone to church on and off throughout my life though I know now that I was not a Christian.
I came to Vineyard to hear a visiting speaker at the invitation of a friend. My perception was that I might be a bit 'old' and that the church was really for younger people - I was heading for retirement at this time!! But no, within weeks I was in a lovely homegoup and within months on a Sunday ministry rota!! I've given my life to the Lord, been baptized and lead a homegoup. Whatever is round the next corner...?

They did it! And survived! Well done to Ashleigh, Emily, Claire, Michelle, Lucy and Liz who ran an incredible 10k for Thembalitsha on a very hot Saturday in London. The money raised will go to support the work Tim and Maz are doing in South Africa. There's more information about Thembalitsha, or you can still sponsor them via JustGiving for a few more days. |
