The latest release from Vineyard Records is a DVD-CD combo featuring the 'Trent' band. Recorded live at their home chuch, Trent Vineyard in Nottingham, it's a chance for them to get some new songs released, as well as giving some of their existing tunes a 'live' feel.
Recorded on a cold and snowy Feburary night, many hundreds of people braved the cold to join in this amazing worship recording. It's unusual to find such a polished performance that still manages to retain a true heart of worship.
Older gems such as 'Hold On' and 'Unfailing Love' are faithfully reproduced, without resorting to change for change's sake. New songs such as 'Burn Bright', 'Jubilee' and 'Now and Ever' are given an opportunity to shine, and will inevitably find their way into regular use in churches.
The package is listed as a DVD with a bonus CD, which while a little strange, illustrates the importance they place on the video aspect of the live recording.
Trent lead worship at New Wine Venue2 and if you enjoyed that, you'll love this CD. With the lack of a Live CD from New Wine 2009, this could be the only chance you've got to hear these new songs. Well recommended.

10K Run for Thembalitsha
They did it! And survived! Well done to Ashleigh, Emily, Claire, Michelle, Lucy and Liz who ran an incredible 10k for Thembalitsha on a very hot Saturday in London.
