Welcome

Mick & Lynn

Hello! We're a group of ordinary people from all walks of life learning to follow Jesus Christ and do the things he did. We want to live out our relationship with a loving God in a way that is true to ourselves and relevant to our culture.

Our goal is that we should be the church rather than just go to church!  We welcome everyone who is seeking to find out the truth about God. We believe that Jesus is alive today and that he can transform and heal messed-up lives.

So, come as you are, dressed as you like, and we promise you won't have to do, say, sign or give anything at all, but if you want to know more, just ask!

We meet at 10:30 every Sunday at:
Aylesbury Grammar School, Walton Road, HP21 7RP

The first Sunday of each month is Vineyard Cafe. Come along for a free continental breakfast.

Coming to Vineyard was like suddenly belonging to a family!

There were people of all ages and so many spoke to me! I love the way Vineyard encourages you to have a go at things and the 'Can Do' culture.

Haiti Appeal
Church Life | Written by Ellie Carman , 21 Jan 2010

Thanks to all those who donated so generously to our appeal for Haiti.

We raised £2300 and have sent a cheque to Compassion UK, a charity that sponsors children in Haiti and is already working to make life better in this poor and desperate country.

For more info speak to Marilyn Pipe who has been sponsoring a Haitian girl called Gertrude for eighteen months, or see www.compassionuk.org.

Please pray for Gertrude's safety as they have been unable to locate her since the earthquake.

Salvation in the Snow!
Written by Ellie Carman , 11 Jan 2010

On Saturday the hardy Healing on the Streets team ventured out into the snow and ice to pray for the people of Aylesbury.

Despite the cold, two people became Christians and several more had significant physical and emotional healings. Legs grew, backs were healed, depression lifted.

It was a great day and afterwards we were treated to hot, nourishing soup a la Viv!

Soul Survivor - Not Ashamed
Reviews | Written by Geoff House , 2 Jan 2010

altAfter nearly 5 months, the live worship CD from Soul Survivor / Momentum 2009 has finally hit the shelves. 'Not Ashamed' is a collection of the best songs from this year's event at Shepton Mallet. It's a polished performance, and while you often struggle to hear the 'live' element, the recording still manages to retain the energy and spirit of the original sound.

Thembalitsha Quiz Night
Church Life | Written by Ellie Carman , 3 Dec 2009

What a fantastic night we had at the World Aids Day Quiz for Thembalitsha on Tuesday night. One hundred and three generous people helped raise just over £1000, or 12,000 SA Rand to send to Maz, Tim & Arron to help towards their work at the Village of Hope.

HOTS News!
Written by Ellie Carman , 9 Nov 2009

We had a wonderful time out on the streets praying for healing on Saturday. We saw many miraculous healings, including legs growing, back and joint pain healed, and a young boy with hearing aids in both ears was completely healed of deafness. If you have been on the training come and join in the fun next time!
